Data Migration Lead
(Location : Singapore)
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to join our HR System Implementation Project team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading data migration activities within HR ERP applications such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Oracle HCM, Workday, or any other equivalent HR systems.
The Data Migration Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end management of data migration processes, ensuring data integrity, quality, and timely delivery of data migration deliverables.
YOUR ROLE
Data Migration Strategy & Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy and plan in alignment with project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including IT, HR, and business teams, to define data migration scope, requirements, and success criteria.
Data Mapping & Transformation:
Lead the data mapping process between legacy systems and the new HR ERP system.
Design, document, and implement data transformation rules to ensure accurate and complete data migration.
Data Extraction, Cleansing, and Loading:
Oversee the extraction, cleansing, and loading of data from legacy systems into the new HR ERP system.
Ensure that data is cleansed, de-duplicated, and validated according to predefined quality standards.
Data Validation & Reconciliation:
Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
Address data discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with functional leads, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure smooth data migration.
Communicate progress, risks, and issues related to data migration to project leadership and stakeholders.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to data migration processes, decisions, and outcomes.
Provide regular reports on the status of data migration activities to project leadership.
Post-Migration Support:
Provide support during and after the data migration process, including resolving post-migration data issues and ensuring a smooth transition.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
8+ years of experience in data migration, with a focus on HR ERP systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or equivalent.
Proven experience leading data migration efforts in large-scale HR system implementation projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of data migration tools and technologies.
Proficiency in SQL, data transformation tools, and ETL processes.
Knowledge of data modeling, data quality management, and data governance.
Project Management:
Experience in managing data migration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
