Workday Financials Consultant /
Senior Consultant

YOUR ROLE

As a Workday Financials Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing and optimizing Workday Financial Management solutions for our clients. You will work closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, and Workday to deliver seamless, high-quality deployments and ongoing enhancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead or support the implementation of Workday Financials modules (e.g., Accounting Center, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Grants, or Financial Reporting).

• Conduct discovery workshops, gather and document business requirements, and design Workday solutions aligned to client needs.

• Configure, test, and deploy Workday Financials modules including integrations with HCM, Payroll, or third-party systems.

• Provide expert guidance on Workday Financials best practices, compliance, and optimization opportunities.

• Manage workstreams, develop project deliverables, and support change

• management efforts.

•  Support AMS (Application Maintenance Services) for existing clients,

• including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and release management.

•  Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and

• capability building.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•  3–6+ years of relevant experience implementing or supporting Workday Financials (Consultant level ~3–4 years; Senior Consultant level 5–6+ years).

• Hands-on configuration experience in one or more Workday Financials modules.

• Strong understanding of financial processes such as GL, AP/AR, Procurement, Expenses, Project Accounting, or Grants Management.

• Workday Financials Certification preferred (or ability to achieve certification quickly).

• Experience in integration requirements gathering and working with technical teams to deliver integrations.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
